for Land Rover Defender L663

This kit will allow you to retro fit paddle shifters to your Land Rover Defender L663.

This kit can be used with heated and non heated steering wheels.

Note: You will need to get your CCF files updated by a 3rd party to enable the paddle shift function in your vehicle's software (there are companies that specialist in Land Rover Retrofits).

Some online videos are saying you need to upgrade the slip ring for this upgrade but this is not the case.

We anticipate that companies like GAP Diagnostics that have mobile phone app technology will add the function to enable you to change the CCF file locally yourself.

The V8 models of the Defender are equipped with these paddle shifters (and an alcantara steering wheel).

If you want to upgrade a non-V8 model to paddle shift you need to change the items in this kit (plus a suitable steering wheel).

In addition to this kit, you will also need to purchase a suitable steering wheel that has the recesses on the back for the paddle shifts - see our other listings to purchase a suitable steering wheel.

This is the HEATED kit so this is suitable for vehicles that already have the heated steering wheel option fitted (if you do not have heated option you would need to change the slip ring too - we will offer this as a separate kit).

You could possibly still fit this kit if you do not have heated option fitted (with scope to change the slip ring and enable heating at a later date) - we have not tested this yet.

Included in the kit is:

• Right Hand Switch Pack (heated) - you need to change this for the paddle shifts to work
• Wiring Loom (heated) - this includes the additional paddle shift wiring
• Aluminium Paddle Shifters - PAIR
• 4x Screws for fitting the paddle shifts to the steering wheel (T20 torx head)
• T20 Torx driver tool

STEERING WHEEL NOT INCLUDED - You will need to purchase a steering wheel separately that includes the recesses for the paddle shifters.

These are all brand new genuine Land Rover items in retail packaging.
