This listing is for a Tailgate Release handle switch for the Land Rover Freelander 2 2012 onwards.

Note: There are 2 variants of this part - please check which you have before ordering.

This listing is for the late type which fits vehicles from 2012 facelift onwards (when the Freelander received some upgrades including LED 'signature strip' headlights).

This is the loom you will need if your vehicle has a reverse camera.

These switches often fail due to water ingress and the switch becomes unreliable.

If you are stuck unable to get into your boot there is a little trick to open the tailgate - press the lock and unlock buttons on the dash at the same time and this will open the tailgate.

This loom comes complete with bulb holders and bulbs for the number plate lights.

This is a Genuine Land Rover item, brand new in retail packaging.
