Viscous Fan Coupling 2 Piece Tool Kit

for Range Rover Sport 2005-2013

These are the 2 tools need to lock and remove the viscous coupling in position when you want to remove the fan

If you want to change the radiator on your Range Rover Sport you really need to remove the fan - believe us we have tried to do with the fan in place and its not possible !

This will work on the Diesel TDV6 models and we used this also on our 4.2L petrol Supercharged model.

We previously tried using the tools with the little "pawl" on a pin and we broke that !

You will get 2 tools as shown in the picture

1) The "clover leaf" tool that is designed to fit over the bolt heads on the viscous fan and hold it still

2) The double ended spanner 32mm and 36mm ( its the 36mm part you need for this job.

If you already have a 36mm spanner then we do also sell just the retaining tool on its own - see our other items. But the spanner does need to be quite thin so check you can get the spanner on before you decide just to buy the retaining tool on its own.

This can be used as an alternative to Land Rover tool 303 -1143

These tools are made from 6mm thick steel with a clear rust proof coating.

These tools also fits the fans on many other Land Rover vehicles and is essential for any workshop working on Land Rovers !

Fitting Details

The tool fits over the nuts on the viscous coupling to enable you to hold it still when removing the main 36mm nut from the fan.

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This item WILL fit the viscous coupling on all Range Rover Sport Diesel TDV6 and also the 4.4L Petrol Supercharged models.
