Rear Tailgate Release Button + Ring Cover Kit

for Range Rover SPORT L320 2005-12

Enhance the rear of your Range Rover SPORT L320 (2005 -12) by fitting this precision made stainless steel tailgate release button kit.

This kit contains a button cover and an outer ring surround cover.

These covers are made from mirror polished stainless steel so will not corrode.

For some reason the plastic used on these switches seems to fade over time with exposure to sunlight and can look washed out and faded.

A subtle yet effective upgrade that can be fitted in minutes.

Each piece is pre-fitted with automotive grade self adhesive tape - Note: We do advise adding a small amount of silicone to the ring when fitting as extra security (silicone not supplied).

We also supply you with an alcohol based surface preparation wipe for maximum adhesion.

As well as adding style this surround also makes it easier to locate the tailgate release button on a dark evening etc.

This will not fit the one piece tailgate used on the 2012 model and upwards ( they do not have this button fitted )

This is not a genuine Land Rover item.

This will also fit the old P38 model !

Fitting Details

These item fit using pre-applied automotive grade self adhesive tape.

Clean the rear button and surround thoroughly.

Remove the backing from the self adhesive tape on the button cover and press into place.

Repeat the process for the outer ring but we advise adding a small amount of silicone to the ring as extra security (silicone not supplied).

A straightforward DIY operation with no tools or drilling required.

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This button cover WILL FIT the SPORT 2005 - 2011 models including the HST

This WILL NOT fit a Range Rover Sport from 2012 onwards with the single piece tailgate (as this does not have a push button)

This WILL also Fit a P38 Range Rover

This WILL NOT fit a L322 ( Vogue Shape ) Range Rover

This WILL NOT fit a Freelander 2 / Discovery 3 etc
