The gas struts on the Range Rover Sport can loose their mojo after a while which can lead to the tailgate not staying up or becoming hard to open.

All struts in this kit are genuine Land Rover items so more expensive than aftermarket alternatives.

Changing your struts is one of those jobs you'll be glad you did - sometimes you don't realise how bad they've got until you renew them!

This strut kit can be used to refresh and upgrade the Range Rover Sport from launch in 2005 through to 2011 (also known as L320).

This kit will replace all 4 of the struts on the 2-part tailgate on the Range Rover Sport 2005 -11.

This kit consists of:

• 1 x LH Genuine Land Rover main tailgate strut (BHE790053)
• 1 x RH Genuine Land Rover main tailgate strut (BHE790043)
• 2 x Genuine Land Rover upper glass tailgate struts (BHE790030)

This is a simple DIY project that only takes 10 minutes - we have done a video below to show you how to do it!

The main tailgate struts in this kit are are handed (Left & Right) and are different part number - although we're not quite sure why!

The smaller struts for the upper glass section of the tailgate are both the same part for left and right.

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This item WILL fit Range Rover Sport L320 Models from 2005 to 2011 ( in 2012 the design changed to one piece tailgate )

This item WILL NOT fit the later Range Rover Sport L320 facelift from 2010 onwards
