This is a Land Rover manifold by pass adaptor

This is used on the RANGE ROVER and the DEFENDER with the V8 EFi ENGINE

 Land Rover Part Number : ETC6547

 This is the screw in ferrule for the bypass pipe. 

On the 3.5L Engine it screws into the inlet manifold to form the connection to the outlet hose (ERC2319) and on the 3.9 it joins the heater supply hose (ETC6890)

These become corroded over time so well worth changing.
