This listing is for a rear door soft close retrofit kit for the Land Rover Defender L663.

The Defender L663 lost some features after it's inital launch (maybe due to supply issues/cost-down exercise etc) - the rear door soft close was one features to be dropped.

This means that early vehicles are fitted with this feature but later models may be missing it.

We have created this kit to allow you to retro fit the soft close to your vehicle.

This kit includes aftermarket actuator and latch but we also sell this kit with genuine Land Rover actuator and latch - see our other listing.

Parts included in this kit are as follows :-

Soft Close motor ( Aftermarket )

Rear door lock assembly ( Aftermarket )

Wiring Loom ( our own design )

Mounting Rubbers x 3 ( Genuine Land Rover )

Routing Pipe / cap screw & lubricant ( to help route cable through the door hinge )

Cable ties x 10

There is a custom Powerful UK easy fit wiring loom included (this is a specially made aftermarket item) plus all other items you need to complete this project yourself.

This project can easily be completed with just basic tools - see below walk-through fitting video.

This is not a genuine Land Rover kit - this kit uses aftermarket parts (except the inserts which are genuine Land Rover).

This item WILL fit all Land Rover Defender L663 models that are missing the soft close feature
