These side vents are a direct replacement for the standard side vents on the Freelander 2 ( also called LR2 in some regions ).

This listing is for the left hand and right hand vent assemblies.

The right hand vent on the Freelander 2 is actually a dummy air intake and has a blanking box behind the vent on the original - the parts we supply also come with the same blanking air vent box on the rear of the right hand vents.

It is quite straight forward to change these side vents - they are only clipped in so no screws or bolts to undo.

Made from plastic with a gloss black outer frame and silver inner mesh.

Note: This is for side vent assemblies only, they do not come with side repeaters.

These are not genuine Land Rover parts.

Fitting Details

Remove the side repeater first by pushing the side repeater as shown and then un-hooking the back edge.

Remove the bulb socket from the side repeater.

Give the side vent assembly a sharp pull at the bottom edge and the bottom edge will release.

The assembly then hinges about the top edge and can be pulled out - takes 5 minutes maximum - you don't need any tools ! you don't even need to unlock the car !
