'Facelift' style Tailgate Strip in All Gloss Black

for Land Rover Freelander 2 2007-on

This listing is for an aftermarket 'rear number plate light housing' in (Gloss Black) for the Land Rover Freelander 2.

This kit comes pre-painted in Gloss Black and ready to fit with just a few basic tools needed (see videos below).

The design of the rear number plate housing was updated in 2010 as part of the first Freelander 2 facelift (this design then stayed the same until end of production in 2014).

The new design housing was much longer than the previous one with and had chrome accent strip as standard (this item has a black strip).

There are 2 parts to this trim panel - the gloss black panel and the gloss black trim strip (see our other listing to purchase in different colour combinations).

Note: This housing has the hole for a reversing camera - if you do not have a reversing camera fitted to your vehicle it may be advisable to bond in a blanking plate before fitting to vehicle.

You will need to drill new fitting holes in your tailgate to fit this item - please check fitment of item before proceeding with drilling.

We also supply the 6 self adhesive circles (for marking drilling points) and 8 x M6 cap head bolts and washers as used in the video.

These parts do not come with number plate lights or switch fitted but you can just re-use your existing parts.

These are good quality aftermarket parts and can be used as an alternative to Land Rover part number LR040786(unpainted).

We also sell this item in primer which you can paint if you require a different colour.
