These is a pair of locking cross bars designed to fit the factory roof rack on the Land Rover Freelander 2.

These are often left in someones garage when they sell the car meaning the roof rails on the car you have purchased are no use to you !

This kit is a set of 2 bars that are adjustable in length, lockable and supplied with 2 keys & can be fitted into the roof rails.

The recommended maximum load on these cross bars is 50kg evenly spread.

The general idea is that you leave the front to back rails in place all the time and only fit the cross bars when you have loads to carry / roof box fitted etc.

The cross bars can be positioned at several positions depending on the length of the load you are carrying.

It is worth noting that the cross bars in this kit are designed to clear the satnav antenna on the rear of the roof ( if fitted )

These are not genuine Land Rover parts but can be used as an alternative to part number LR002417.
