Range Rover Evoque

for Heated Steering Wheel - Electrical Retrofit kit (Genuine)

These are the components used in the below video to retrofit a heated steering wheel into our Range Rover Evoque Dynamic.

These items are all available from Land Rover direct but we have put them together as a kit for people who want to buy these parts by mail order.

The control relays and all other parts are already fitted to the car and it just needs these parts to allow you to get this feature.

We tried this on our car as per the video and it worked straight away - we cannot of course guarantee this will work for all models but we would be surprised if it did not!

NOTE: This kit will fit all vehicles from chassis number up to FH999999

You will also need to purchase a heated steering wheel - see our other items for these.

Note this kit contains the latest version switch pack and loom which have an extra ground wire which was added to fix problems with the switch pack functioning correctly (Land Rover Technical Bulletin LTB00663NAS6).

The kit contains:

1) The slip Ring - this has the extra 2 wires inside for the heated steering wheel circuit.

2) The wiring loom that fit in the steering wheel behind the air bag with the temperature control circuit in (latest 4 wire version)

3) The switch pack with the heated wheel "paddle" behind - note this has voice and phone options too (latest 4 wire version)

Land Rover had problems with a poor Earth that gave intermittent functionality on the left hand switch pack, some vehicles were modified according to the technical bulletin. If you experience problems with this upgrade, please check your vehicle details with your dealership :
