Rear LED Light Strip - Smoked Strip

for Range Rover Evoque 2011 -18

This is a rear light strip assembly for the Range Rover Evoque (1st generation 2011 -18).

In comparison to the red lens version, this smoked light has a slightly reduced light output but still looks great when illuminated.

We have designed and engineered this product ourselves under our own HSX brand so this is exclusive to Powerful UK Ltd.

The light functions as tail light i.e. on when the headlights are on.

Upon vehicle start up / unlocking the light strip fades up in a dynamic mode from the centre.

This light assembly comes finished in painted gloss black with an integral LED light strip.

The LED strip appears black when the light is off but shines red when illuminated.

This light assembly replaces the trim panel that sits above the number plate and houses the reversing camera and number plate lights.

This is suitable for vehicles with or without reversing camera - there is a camera blank pre-fitted to the panel which can be removed if you have a camera (it is fixed in place with a cross head screw).

We have included a plug-and-play 'pass through' connector so it easily plugs into your existing wiring with no alterations needed.

Just swap over and re-use your existing fixings (there are no fixings included with this product, see below for replacement clip info).

Please note: This is our version 2 design of this light strip, we have made improvements over the version 1 design relating to improving the light diffuser to give a more uniform light distribution along the strip, however it may still be possible to see the individual LEDs on certain parts of the strip.

Note: During testing in our own vehicle this light bar did not seem to interfere with our DAB reception (some LED products can cause Electromagnetic Interference) - we add a ferrite core to the wiring loom before to help prevent any issues.

This light is not E-marked.

This is not a genuine Land Rover item.

Fitting Guidance

IMPORTANT NOTE: We're investigating a report of the left hand rear light going off after fitting this light bar. Please run your vehicle and CHECK operation of your rear lights before using your vehicle and report any issues to us.

Note: If you have the power tailgate, you will need to remove a component to access one of the nuts on the tailgate strip.

This item WILL NOT fit the Range Rover Evoque 2nd generation which was released in 2019
