This listing is for a keyless entry anti-theft kit.

The keyless entry feature on vehicles is convenient but can also be vulnerable to thieves.

Note: Land Rover introduced 'Ultra Wide Band' remotes on selected vehicles from 2018 and all vehicles from 2021 - UWB technology is more secure and helps prevent 'relay attacks'.

You do not need this kit if you have UWB remote - see photo.

This kit can be used as an extra layer of security against 'relay theft' - this is where thieves use a signal booster to relay the 'keyless entry unlock' signal from a keyfob inside your house to the car.

This tricks the car into thinking the key is nearby and as a result the thieves can unlock the car and drive away in seconds, without the need for any form of traditional break-in.

This kit includes a 'battery sleeper module' which is installed 'around' the standard battery in your keyfob and puts it to sleep after around 3 minutes of no movement (it has an in-built motion sensor).

This means that when your keyfob is inactive it does not emit the keyless signal that the thieves intercept.

Note: There are sleeping batteries available on the market but this module allows you to use just a standard battery and the sleeping module is re-usable.

This kit includes also includes a faraday pouch which blocks the signal from a keyfob, this can be used to store your spare key in (there is no need to store the key with the sleeper battery in the pouch).
