Upgrade your Land Rover Discovery 5 by fitting this wireless phone charging cupholder!

The wireless phone charging cupholder has been designed to charge utilising the cup holder space in the center console.

This is a Qi charger which is a technology that allows charging over short distances without cables.

This unit simply slots into the cupholder recess in the front dash area and creates a 'dock' that you can slot your phone into and charge.

This is a relatively easy install which just requires a 21mm hole to be drilled for the cable - we have not done this install yet so we don't have a video.

The charger is supplied with a wiring loom which simply plugs into the pre-installed harness in your Discovery 5.

The charger comes with a swivel top which closes when not in use to prevent dirt and debris from entering the charger unit.

There are also rubber pads on the charger to hold the phone firmly in place

This is suitable for Qi enabled wireless charging devices with a maximum width of 2.8inches (7.1cm).

There is an LED status indicator on the charger:

• Amber illumination indicates the phone is charging.
• No illumination indicates the phone is not charging, or is fully charged.
• Red illumination indicates there is a system fault.

This is Land Rover part number VPLRV0118 which retails for over £215!

You will need to drill a 21mm hole in the cupholder liner & centre console for the wiring - you can purchase a hole saw from us, see item DRILL-21.5mm
